Taking up Gabriela's idea from the forum, let's start some collaborative sweating!

Collaborative Projects

Students' wikis (add links to provide examples)

Teachers' reflections on wikis

Blogs or Wikis?

How much information to put on a wiki if you want to encourage students to own it  Finally figured out how to link! I'm much more familiar with wikispaces, so it is good to have my learner's hat on! Karen

Besides the examples you are providing, we could do some real collaborative work together as well.

Gabriela had a great idea over at the forum :

I’ve been thinking.

Most of us just have "feelings" about our students technological

abilities. I’d thought of building up a survey to get more information

about wht my students really know/expect. Now I’ve thought that we

could design one together, and collect some data that could give us a

better perspective of the reality. I don’t mean doing this right now,

here, because it’s not the objective of this workshop. But.. when it’s

over… I’m just writing this now because I know I might forget

later. We could invite other teachers as well.

What do you think?

So I've opened a survey page where we can do just that. This way we'll be able to do more than just compare wikis, we'll actually be involved in the same processes as we might want our learners to be involved in.

I'm happy with this. I hope more people join in.

Just so we stay focused, we can collaborate and share here, but we should keep the discussion about the process at the forum. Two different tasks, two different places, and then there are the blogs, of course :-)

I like the idea of sharing this experience here. I, too, hope others join.

Just been fiddling with the sidebar so that it becomes a menu for the contents but can't find a setting to make it the first thing that appears (rather than Quick Start). Any ideas?

Looks like you got it. I was thinking that we needed a table of contents or something, but the sidebar does that nicely when you click on the right tab.

Or did you want to do more than what I am seeing here?
